Your web presence will often be a person’s first impression of your business and it’s up to you to make it positive.
Not sure where to begin? Here are three things you can do this week to up your social media game:
- Pick a color. Consistency is key for recognition. Think of Google, their colors and logos. There’s no mistaking them. Choose a color and incorporate it into all of your social media platforms.
- Obtain a professional looking headshot or team photo. People want to see your beautiful face! Make sure it is professional and fits your brand (i.e. if you are a dog trainer, have a dog in your photo!). Share this photo on your social media outlets as well as your “about us” page of your website.
- Speaking of the “about us” page. Fill this in on your social media and website. If your Facebook page doesn’t have current information in its “about me”, you’ll want to fill that in asap. Same with any of your social media platforms. It doesn’t have to be long, in fact, keeping it short and concise will be to your benefit. Just make sure it accurately reflects your business as it is today.
