Running a business requires a lot of mental energy! Not only are you required to take care of the day to day operations (email, regular mail, paying the bills, getting paid, ordering inventory, etc.) but you also need to manage the “big picture” of your business.
Without the Big Picture, many things can start to fall apart. Your marketing might become hap-hazard, your own motivation might get lost, and customers might start to get confused or uninspired to buy from you.
As part of our marketing strategy, we always ask the question of our clients: What is your goal?
It might seem obvious, but it really isn’t! And if your answer isn’t specific, it can be difficult for us to help.
Some possible goals:
- Increasing revenue
- Increasing profits
- Increasing new customers
- Increasing customer loyalty
- Increasing brand awareness
- Reaching a new target audience
- Expanding your product offerings
- Introducing a new message
The list goes on and on. Our most effective marketing campaigns have just ONE very specific goal. Not only does this help us to guide our work, but it helps to measure success.
